AK — Luxury Lane

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AK — Luxury Lane processes personal data when you visit this website, request a private chauffeur journey or contact us.

1. Controller

Provider: AKAD

Address: Schonleutner strasse 5, 80995, Munich

Service area: Munich, Germany and surrounding areas

Phone: +49 160 5951419

2. Booking data

When you request a journey we process the name, email address, phone number, pickup and destination address, date and time, passenger and luggage details, selected vehicle class, chosen payment method, calculated price and any notes you provide.

Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without these details we cannot arrange the journey.

3. Contact forms, phone, email and WhatsApp

Data you submit through a contact or trip request form is used solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare the journey (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

If you contact us by phone or email, we process your phone number, email address and the content of your message for the same purposes.

If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, the communication takes place on infrastructure operated by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta. Your phone number, profile information and message content are processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. Using WhatsApp is entirely voluntary — you can always reach us by phone, email or the website forms instead. Please do not send sensitive information via WhatsApp.

4. Payments

Online payments are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. Payment and card data are entered directly with PayPal; this website neither receives nor stores card numbers. We receive transaction identifiers, the amount and the payment status in order to confirm your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

For cash bookings no payment data is processed beyond the recorded amount and payment status.

5. Emails we send

Booking confirmations and operational notifications are sent by email using a transactional email provider acting as a processor on our behalf. The email address, booking reference and journey details are processed for this purpose (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Server log data

When you access the website, technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system is processed to deliver the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use technically necessary storage to operate the website and to remember your language and cookie choices. Optional analytics storage is only used after you give consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

8. Google services: Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KGJ4QNJT) to manage tags. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles or set analytics cookies; it only loads tags in line with your consent settings.

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-VE7P7TN9CG) to understand in aggregate how the website is used, for example which pages are viewed and which contact options are chosen. Google Consent Mode v2 is implemented: analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to denied by default and are only updated when you consent.

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA on the basis of the EU Commission's adequacy decision and/or EU standard contractual clauses. IP addresses are shortened by Google before geographic evaluation.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer, with effect for the future.

We currently do not use advertising or remarketing tags. If advertising technologies are introduced in future, this policy and the consent options will be updated beforehand.

9. Maps and address search

Address suggestions and route calculation for the booking flow are requested by our server from a mapping provider. Your browser does not contact the mapping provider directly for this purpose, and no map tracking cookies are set by this website.

10. Recipients and processors

Data is disclosed only where necessary: to our hosting and database provider, our transactional email provider, our payment provider (PayPal), our mapping provider, and — with consent — Google for analytics. Processors act on our instructions under data processing agreements. Disclosure may also occur where we are legally obliged to do so.

11. Data retention

Booking and payment records are retained for the statutory German retention periods (generally up to 10 years for accounting-relevant documents under HGB and AO).

General enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once the matter is concluded, unless retention is legally required. Consent records are stored for evidentiary purposes. Server logs are kept only for a short period for security purposes.

12. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21).

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. Analytics consent can be withdrawn using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

To exercise your rights, contact us at rides@akluxurylane.com or +49 160 5951419.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, Germany).

13. Data security and changes

The website is delivered over encrypted TLS connections and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures. We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements; the current version always applies.
